Maybe I just don't understand the new format.

Anyway just thought I would stop by and look into my past.

I have internet at home indirectly. This is cool!

We all know it is my last day here at work and my horoscope this morning hit really close to home.

I am completely bored with this job. I know I only have a few more days but geez... it is going to be the longest three days of my life.

I have absolutely NO work on my desk and little energy to stay awake.

but I work for an air conditioning company and our air conditioning does not work. Go figure. I am dying in here today. Way too stuffy for my liking.

Alas an update.

I apologize for the lack of updates lately. My life has been somewhat crazy since the move. I absolutely love my apartment. A little concerned with the neighborhood but love the apartment. Last Thursday driving down my road I had to stop and wait while a kid did tricks on his skateboard in the middle of the road before I could continue passing. I have absolutely nothing against skateboards but find it frustrating that I have to stop in the middle of the road and wait until the individual feels the need to pull out of the road so I can pass. Of course I had already passed two families sitting on their steps in front of their apartments. Just do not get this yet. Continuing down my street I pass two more couples and lastly two guys sitting on their steps. What is it with Biddeford and people sitting on their steps. Notice it is steps and not porches. Regardless as I drive by the last two guys they yell to me from their steps. So needless to say the whole neighborhood shall take some getting used to but I am sure I will come to love it in time and who knows maybe I will be sitting on my steps with the best of ‘em by the end of the summer!

So work is still the same. I swear I have to have one of the easiest jobs in the world. I am never challenged and work very little in one day. I get paid great money but don’t feel like I am an asset to the company. I did however follow up on my last interviewee’s advice and take the clerical test for the state position. I passed and I actually got a 96.4 out of 100. So that is great. Of course that just gets my name on the registry which hopefully will get me an interview in time but no job yet. Granted it is a 3 dollar pay cut but the benefits and location would be worth it. I am hoping for a job at the Biddeford office!

I miss everyone! I hope all is well in your worlds. Heather we need to get together sometime and go for a bike ride. Unfortunately we are expected to get rain all week... I can not wait for beautiful weather! Merissa I miss you and hope to see you this week at my apartment. I will cook dinner if you want! Mike I miss you and love you. Please take care of you and feel free to visit my new apartment whenever you want. Amy I have not seen you forever I think we need to have a gathering in the near future. Ring in the summer or something. I could definitely go summer clothes shopping! Robyn I hope things are going good for you and I hope to see you soon!!! Lori I hope you are doing well and maybe I will see you in the future too!! Susan are you coming to Portland or what??? Boston???? What is going on????

If only there were more hours in a day you would have a chance of doing everything you wanted to. Alas, you are allotted a mere 24, and have to do the best you can with that limited amount. Today you may feel real time pressure, as demands come at you from all sides. The office, home, your religious group and volunteer organization all could be clamoring for a piece of you. If you are not careful, Tracy, there will be nothing left of yourself to give.

Your life has been changing for a while, Tracy, and it hasn't always been easy for you. Today you're apt to be feeling the effects of this transformation more than you usually do, and wondering what on earth is happening to you. Don't let your doubts and insecurities about the future get blown all out of proportion. You can only take things one day at a time. Focus on a cherished goal, and move on ahead.

So here I am sipping my coffee replying to Lori's journal and I happen to look over at my shirt sleeve and there was a huge hornet on my shirt. Seriously I am terrified of bugs. Not sure why, I think it has something to do with growing up with all boys and having them thrown at me constantly as a child. Regardless I hate them. So here I am trying to figure out what to do and the hornet is just sitting there feeling things out. I had to flick him off my shirt than follow up with swatting him with a notebook. Unfortunately I had to kill him. Very sad ending but I am glad the ordeal is over.

Anyway, It's Friday It's Friday!!! Happy early birthday Merissa!! I wont be able to update tomorrow so I thought I would send you birthday wishes today!
